Fans of Justin Bieber voiced worries this week about the singer’s health after he was seen with distant, hollow eyes and a somber, worn-out appearance.

Thousands of ‘Beliebers’ gathered to speculate about whether his physical decline was due to the difficulties of being a new father or if there were reports of a tense marriage.

In order to determine what might be causing his appearance and whether a more serious health issue is at work, DailyMail.com has now consulted a number of medical professionals.

The most obvious changes in Bieber’s appearance, according to board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Gaurav Bharti, were his receding hairline, loss of facial volume, and the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles. He made these comments to DailyMail.com.

Natural aging, stress, diet, weight reduction, and skincare practices are some of the causes of these changes.

“Prolonged poor sleep and inadequate recovery can also accelerate signs of aging, making someone appear more tired or drawn,” he said.

Jonathan Alpert, a psychologist in Manhattan, told DailyMail.com that Justin has been the subject of “immense scrutiny” for a long time, which may be made worse by the demands of fatherhood. The specialists emphasized that they hadn’t looked at or handled Bieber.

Now 30, Bieber rose to popularity at the age of 15, and he and Hailey recently welcomed a son, Jack.

The media hysteria surrounding Justin’s erstwhile collaborator, Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was jailed in September on several alleged rape and assault charges that he denies, may also be to blame for his deteriorating appearance, according to psychiatrist and author Dr. Carole Lieberman.

Additionally, Justin has long struggled with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which he finally made public in 2022.

The illness is a type of facial paralysis brought on by the reactivation of the chickenpox or shingles (herpes zoster) virus in the facial nerves that are located close to each ear.

Age, other conditions, or extreme stress may cause the virus to reactivate.

It is well recognized that stress is a common trigger. Numerous studies have demonstrated that stress can impair immunity and that persons who experience high levels of stress are more susceptible to illnesses than those who do not.

Additionally, according to therapist Shari Botwin, Justin’s chronic condition and, consequently, his appearance may have gotten worse due to recent stressors like a newborn baby, rumors of marital problems, and Diddy’s incarceration.

She noted: “Bieber was diagnosed with a condition that affects the facial nerves, causing paralysis on one side of his face.” 

“Ramsay Hunt syndrome has affected his physical appearance; however, stress and earlier life traumas could be taking a toll on his health.”

“Bieber has alluded to surviving trauma as a child. Even though he has not spoken publicly about what happened, it is possible that the shame, pain and loss he has experienced has resulted in early aging and change in appearance. “

“Often times, undigested trauma and stress can lead to a variety of health issues.”

“A career in the spotlight may finally be taking its toll,” Alpert said. He made analogies to how US presidents typically age significantly while in office.

He said: “Sudden changes in appearance, particularly signs of aging, can often be attributed to a combination of stress, lifestyle choices, and underlying health factors.”

“Celebrities (similar to US Presidents) live under an immense amount of scrutiny, which can be emotionally exhausting and take a physical toll over time. Public figures are often subject to intense scrutiny and this kind of pressure can itself impact their well-being.”

“Ultimately, significant changes in appearance are usually the result of multiple factors—stress, sleep quality, diet, and emotional health all play a role.”

Talking about whether his rumored marriage woes could have affected Justin’s health, Alpert noted: “If there are rumors of marital troubles, that could certainly contribute to stress, as relationship challenges are one of the biggest sources of emotional strain.”

Lieberman said: “The latest celebrity sighting of Justin Bieber looks like the night of the walking dead”.

“He’s gone from looking like “Ken”, a stereotypically hot guy, to being almost unrecognizable. It is shocking that no one has gotten him onto a psychiatrist’s couch before now.”

After Bieber was drawn into the debate because of his connections to the rapper-mogul, Lieberman thinks the Diddy drama may play a role.

When Bieber was fifteen years old in 2009, he went ‘full buck crazy’ with Diddy for 48 hours at the rapper’s house, ostensibly unaccompanied.

In a video taken during that time and shared to YouTube by Bieber, Diddy, then 40, turns to the camera and says, “He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out [sic] and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose.”

“But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream. We’re gonna go full, buck full crazy.”

When Khloe Kardashian saw Bieber in 2014, she recalls that “half the people there were butt-naked.” He was seen topless during the launch party for Combs’s drink company, DeLeon, in February of that year.

The following year, the two danced together at Combs’s son Justin’s 21st birthday celebration. Two months later, they both took the stage at a music festival in Miami.

Since his arrest in September, Diddy has strongly refuted every claim made against him, while Justin has been silent and unreactive to the allegations.

According to several cases, Combs has been charged with leveraging his notoriety and prospects for stardom to lure his alleged victims to extravagant parties or drug-fueled hangouts where he allegedly assaulted them.

Over the years, Justin has intermittently battled to deal with the overwhelming stardom that followed his childhood discovery by Scooter Braun.

The year he turned 14, he signed his first record deal with RBMG. Two years later, he broke records with the release of his debut album, My World 2.0, which catapulted him into a worldwide superstar.

Recently, the musician stirred up controversy by unfollowing several prominent individuals, such as his mentor Usher, his former manager Braun, and Ryan Good, who served as the best man at his wedding. This led to rumors that he was attempting to cut ties with his former self in order to concentrate on his new songs.
